OMG!! I had so much fun! That was awesome! My Beloved made me call him before I left AND when I got home, so he would not worry. He is a happy camper now.
I got to meet a few folks from here and I must say, I AM SO GLAD I POPPPED IN!

Lo and I went to Swinetastic up here yesterday and it was a great event. Talked to some of the competitors and one of them said 'It's pretty easy to make a small fortune in competition BBQ. Just make sure you start out with a large one!"

Oh, for crying out loud! How could you not like something/anything that one of the vendors were selling? They had pulled pork, minced pork, sliced beef brisket, ribs. They had fries, cole slaw & baked beans. I mean, it's not rocket science cooking. Simple BBQ. Maybe it's not YOUR recipe, but certainly wasn't gruel and far from being nasty tasting. Yeah, we were drinking beer - but Foxhound doesn't drink and he also wasn't high - and he definitely thought the food was good, too. So out of our group of 8-10 people - we all thought the food was good.I think that is you all's problem, you were high, which is why you thought the food was good... everything tastes good when you're high
Guess you should have stopped by the SOMD.com Heathens table, because we all ALSO got to sample all the nommy BBQ entries that were leftover from the judging competition when Vraiblonde was finished judging.
THEN, if you had purchased a Taster's choice ticket, you could have helped judge the People's choice wing competition. I had at least 10 wings during that competition. MMMMMMmmmm, most of those were very good, too.
