BDVFD saves ducklings!

I noticed one of the female mallards in my neighborhood hanging out in the street w/ 2 TINY babies under her. I couldn't stop since the hound was w/ me and would have scared her to death. When R was on his way home, the VFD was there...2 of her babies had fallen through the storm drain! They got them out safely and delivered them back to Mom.

Those guys and girls don't get NEARLY enough thanks for the time and effort they put forward every day as VOLUNTEERS!
