Lemme just say this. I started this thread b/c I was quite impressed by the new station. I drove by it yesterday and thought that it was beautiful. I should not have even posted the joke that I did. I apologize. I know that your hubby is a member. I did not mean any harm.

Actually that's what I thought. I wonder why the date on the picture said Feb. I knew I saw them out there more recently than that.

Seems like a lot of roof area that isn't being utilized. Scissor trusses are nice when you're trying to get cathedral ceilings in the Living Room at your house but spanning across several engine bays seems like a lot of wasted roofing material. I think metal bar joists with a flat roof would have been more economical.

You oversees their construction budget? Seems like they are building better fire stations than schools in this county. What's up with that?

Not sure, but they're certainly building them faster.
