It's the Boy Scout in me. Not a full prepper, but I do like to think ahead. So today I ran the generators, checked the fuel supply, checked the solar system, charged the extra car batteries, checked flashlights, made sure I had extra AA, AAA and 9v batteries.

Good on everything else for a while.

Went through our preparedness supplies. I went as far to locate an old box of candles. Discovered some ammo I can't use (20 gauge 2 1/2 target load) that came home with us from the last outing. 2-3/4 minimum for us. Pretty good on everything else. Only concern we would have in the long term would be dog food. Have a few more mouths to feed at the moment. The bigger concern is how this will affect the adoption process. That's 5 weeks away. Oh and crab bait.
