Beagles, beagles, beagles...

Tri-County Animal Shelter is in the process of having to take in approximately 100 beagles from a local "breeder" in Southern Maryland. They have made arrangements to take 20 every Friday for the next 5 Fridays. This is putting a tremendous burden on an already overcrowded shelter. I'm sure all of the local rescue groups have been notified but if anyone can help in any way please let me know. These dogs and puppies were being sold for $500.00 each. They are beautiful dogs and Lucky Ones has just rescued 4 females as that is all of the room they have available now. If you're looking for a beagle, please either go to the shelter or contact www.luckyonesdogs@yahoo.com. If you're able to help foster, Lucky Ones will provide all of the medical work and food. They currently only have 2 foster homes. Thanks.

I love beagles, but my current dog does not. She has a snippy little dog war with the 2 down the street. They don't play well together. Otherwise I'd at least foster one.

Heck no ... sometimes he curls up in the bathroom sinks, and I don't notice him b/c he's mostly all white and blends right in. :lol:

Aww we have one beagle already but if we had more room I'd be interested. I live in a trailer though and we can only have one pet. To bad because I love my beagle and plan on getting another whenever we get a house.

I currently have two sweet females I'm fostering.

Guess what...

I'M GOING TO BE A FOSTER MOMMY!!!!!! I'm so excited! I talked to the lady from lucky ones last night and it's a go. I think I am getting a little girl after she is spayed today. I cannot wait!! :yahoo:
