I've decided that bending over to pick beans is one of my least favorite things to do, so I'm going back to pole beans. I'd like to use natural poles as opposed to PVC and the like. Does anyone here have access to a bamboo patch that I might be able to acquire some larger growth poles for this purpose? Usually it is a nuisance to the landowner and they're glad to get rid of it. There's a huge stand of it by the Solomon's boat ramp. Anyone know if there's a way to get permission to cut some? Thanks in advance.
