Now, something stuck out to me - Warren Beatty's remark
"You have to have a wristband to listen to the governor?" Bening asked. "He represents all of us, right?"
Is it possible to be so famous, and have so much money, that you think you can just go up and talk to your governor without an appointment or invitation - just because you *feel* like it? Is it possible to be so egotistical that you think you're entitled to something that almost everyone else around you has no chance of getting, on a *whim*?
I've always understood that my Congressman and Senator represent me, and should be open to receive my input - but I also realize they represent hundreds of thousands to millions of people and can't just let their time be a revolving door to every constituent who has something to say.
