Check her out!

The listing says she is not yet up for adoption, but she is! She is good w/ children, good w/ other animals, obedience trained, and has had some tracking training.

She looks like a gem!

I'm trying to figure out how to arrange the car to get the most dogs in there... of course I will not leave my keys in there during this process....

That would require you to drive over to St. Mary's first....

Let me see what I can wrap my mind around...

Thank you so much K_K.

I am partial to GSD's, that is all I have owned growing up. She reminds me so much of my male GSD ( I have attached his photo), he also has a black spot on the back of his tongue, but I have never heard of the old wives tale....Interesting.

TCS let me know that she was going to be picked up by a rescue today, and they also told me that they have two stray shepherds that just came into the shelter.... It never ends!

I know how you feel about Purebreeds (not trying to get into which is better argument) but i just thought it was neat to see that trait exhibited on her.

I have nothing against purebreds.... my point is that you can get them from the shelter.... (no arguments from me today...~)

He picked her up and says she is beautiful and sweet. Weighs about 95 lbs.

She did curl her lip at a dog at the vets office that got too close to her, but that could be purely stress going from her owner's home on Monday to the shelter for a couple of days. So, we'll evaluate her for a couple of days and see what's going on with her. Give her a chance to settle back down.

I had never heard that about the tongue either, but I've never paid much attention to this particular breed other than to admire them.

I can't wait to meet her, the foster home is in love with her already and as usual in our line of work "I'd keep her if we didn't have so many of our own...."

We rescued our baby about 7 years ago from Tri-County. She was so skinny and sick. When we tooke her to the vet they found a breeders tattoo in her ear. We never did find out where she was from. I also have never heard about the spot on the tongue for purebreads. She is our baby.

She's beautiful! What a great life it looks like she's had!
