Bed and Breakfast

I wanna be a SMIB
I was wondering if anyone has stayed at the
Solomans Victorian Inn over on Solomans island by the Tiki bar. I stayed there and for the $200 a night cost, I was quite dissapointed. I thought the lady who seemed to run it acted like she had something better to do. There was nothing special about it. No perks like flowers or candles in your room. no radio. And the gourmet breakfast consisted of baked eggs with cheese and a little shrimp with cinnimon toast and 1/2 grapefruit. Not at all impressed. comments, anyone?

I stayed there the night of my engagement a couple years back in the best room in the house - the Harbor Sunset. I was extremely impressed and hope to make an anniversary trip back in a year or so.

This was my first bed and breakfast. I guess I just expected more. We usually go to the Luray area and rent a chalet or a house and they do nice little extras for you like a fresh bouquet of flowers or a bottle of wine or a small box of nice chocolates or at least something to make you feel special. This place did none of that.

They had swan shaped towels!! Is that not enough for you? :lmao: Oh, and bath salts, too.

Swan shaped towels is more than I got. There was 1 pack of bath salts for the whole night. 1 very small packet of shampoo for 2 people (with hair). It was as if she wanted to make sure you didnt take more than she allowed.

Otter

Nothing to see here

Thanks for the tip...I was going to try it some night. I have stayed at a few B&B's. Most have a great breakfast but they don't usually give out stuff. Only one place in the mountains of NC have we returned to the same B&B...Wind Dancers :yay: great people, great rooms, great food and llama treks!
