I'm sure many here will think I'm stupid, but what kind of snake is that?

Copperhead. Poisonous, but not fatal (usually). Nasty bite though. Myself, I don't like any snake!! Thank goodness I have Hubby to "re-locate" them to the woods!!

I thought they had a diamond pattern or something?

That would be a rattlesnake. And though some people say they are not around here, my Mom remembers killing some when her folks had a cabin on Battle Creek years ago! She swears she also shot cotton mouths there. Of course, I was too young to remember!! :lol:

Nice pics! I saw a Copperhead slithering under some brush last week, wished i had the camera though. We do have a bunny or two that seem to stay in our yard regularly! The GF has named them Jack and Diane :lol:
