I walked in to a place this weekend that was a liquor store with tables and a big screen, they had the biggest selection of off the wall beers I've EVER seen.....
I sampled Dirty Dick's, it was a bit heavy, but still good. MIgtig's was nasty, something called Decadence that left a slimy taste in my mouth. EWW!
When you brew your own beer, how do you get it to maintain a fruity flavor, like a honey and raspberry ale?? I think I'd like that.
Anyone ever try to do a double dark chocolate lager??? I think that might be doable.
Not ready for that yet. It's more complicated and the equipment is expensive.fttrsbeerwench said:I've helped make wine and shine, but never beer.. You should have a tasting of your hard work someday for us forumites
Ever consider trying something from scratch?

Only a day. That's not so bad for my level of attention.RoseRed said:Took you long enough to chime in.

About a year and a half. Only six batches, all extract kits. I want to really get the techniqe down before I try and play with the good stuff. I need to get some more equipment though because I'm doing partial boils right now.qadthane said:How long have you been brewing?
