Beer Brewing

:elaine: Bubble bubble toil and trouble:howdy:

I walked in to a place this weekend that was a liquor store with tables and a big screen, they had the biggest selection of off the wall beers I've EVER seen.....

I sampled Dirty Dick's, it was a bit heavy, but still good.:yum: MIgtig's was nasty, something called Decadence that left a slimy taste in my mouth. EWW!

When you brew your own beer, how do you get it to maintain a fruity flavor, like a honey and raspberry ale?? I think I'd like that.

Anyone ever try to do a double dark chocolate lager??? I think that might be doable.

When I made a raspberry ale the ingredients came with raspberry extract. You just poured it in the wort prior to bottling.

Ever consider trying something from scratch?

Not ready for that yet. It's more complicated and the equipment is expensive.

How long have you been brewing?
About a year and a half. Only six batches, all extract kits. I want to really get the techniqe down before I try and play with the good stuff. I need to get some more equipment though because I'm doing partial boils right now.
