sucks, sucks, sucks.

Belk COULD be decent if they took over the space being occupied by that terrible excuse for a Sears.

Been to Peebles once. :twitch: Shopping is difficult enough for me, I don't want to spend three hours trying to find my way thru a pile of clothing. Totally messy and disorganized with no rhyme or reason. Place makes my head hurt.

Really?!?! What location? I love the one in Prince Frederick but it's not a very big store. Very neat and organized and has a nice selection of the better brands.

You probably wouldn't be interested in any of the three. I think your type of brown shirt and arm band is out of style.

Peebles

I really like Peebles. We shop at the one in Prince Frederick . I like the selection of men's clothing and home decorating/bed & bath the best.

I think the "ladies' wear is limited, but certainly on red tag sales, the prices can't be beaten.

Yuk, Yuk, Yuk

None of the above. I prefer H&M in downtown DC cuz they actually make clothes that fit you correctly. I also go to Crate & Barrell up near American University. There is the Hechts in Downtown and it is just as ghetto as the other ones. I do Like Men's Wearhouse and Banana Republic. Sothern MD I don't think will ever get decent shopping.

When you say Hecht's is "ghetto," do you mean most of the clientele is below the poverty line? I think of the dollar stores that way.

I'm not sure why there's such a disconnect about quality retailers coming to Southern Maryland. With the NAVAIR move, St. Mary's has more and more people who can afford Nordstrom's. And look at the housing in northern Calvert. The people buying those homes can afford much better than Dollar General.

JC Penney's --- Great sales and clothes

Belk --- I can never find any good sales, and the clothes are all old lady clothes.

Peebles --- Love the clothes, HATE the way they fall apart after a few washings. Every pair of pants I have bought there has lost the buttons, or the zipper has broken. Lot of thread ravels, too.:burning:

Just my personal opinion....
