I finally made it to this famous DC landmark. I got a half smoked sausage. I was severely underwhelmed. At least I can check the box and move on.

Not sure what I was expecting, but once I took a bite, I knew that wasn't it.

I find that happens a lot, you finally hit some iconic restaurant and it's...meh. I made Larry go to Sardi's the first time we hit NYC because it was famous and showbizzy. The food sucked.

I hit it for the first (and only) time a few weeks ago. My $4.00+ chili dog was no better than a $1.50 dog at a street vendor. :shrug:

Bill Cosby and the Kenyan can eat free there all they want.

I dont like DC and have no desire to go to Ben's, this tread just gives me one more reason not to.
