Anybody been? Any good excursion info, things to do and or see. Wife and sonster leave on the 22nd cruising to Bermuda and staying there 3 days and then cruising back. I am guessing the obvious is hit the beach, scuba / snorkeling.

Took May 20 - 25 off from work and the 29th , Sonster graduates from Salisbury U. on May 21. Cruise leaves on May 22, his graduation gift. Major project at work the week they are away, i am the taxi driver, dropping them off and picking them up on the 29th. I bet they are not going to tip me.

Wifey, her parents, and brother were born and raised there, all Bermudian citizens under the crown, came here with her family in 1973. Her dad and brother became US citizens, she and her mom still Bermudians. Been there about seven or eight times. A beautiful, really neat 22 sq mile speck of rock and sand in the Atlantic.

Plenty to do, but take LOTS of $$$$$. Nine full size 18 hole golf courses, and I mean full size, with spectacular ocean views on many holes. Snorkel right off the beaches (mostly south shore) - Horseshoe Bay is the best, IMHO - good wave action, great fishing, sightseeing.

Like I said, take LOTS of $$$$$$.

I agree w/ the $$$ part. Luckily the cruise helps cover a lot of the food cost if you time things right. Although I never miss the fish & chips from The Frog & Onion when I'm there :yum:

We like Horseshoe Bay but its gets really crowded so we normally walk a little bit further down towards Warwick Long. I think our favorites are Church Bay or Tobacco Bay.

Warwick Long Bay is very nice. My wife's uncle owned a cottage right on top of the cliff above it, and he would always let us use it for a few days while we were there. Talk about feeling isolated at night, and it got dark outside with really no neighbors or street lights. The short hike to the beach, about 50 feet up, straight up and down was always fun. You could really hear the waves pounding at night.
