Captain John's on Cobb Island has good food at least the last time I was there it did!
I dont think the food there has changed since they got the salad bar in the early 80's. Always good. Better if you go by boat - although last summer we watched the Fire Boat smash into a boat parked on the gas dock. Made the food taste better.

You have to have to act together when you go anywhere by boat. When you are trying to dock the entire restaurant stops what they are doing to watch you. It is pretty intimidating even for me and I have been around boats all of my life.

TYKY and I also in seek of the best Cream of Crab Soup. So far DiGiovanis, then The Tides and then Dry Dock. Others do not make the list and others we have not tried. But always up for recommendations.

We're moving to MD in 3.5 weeks. Who do y'all think has the best crabcakes?
Don't waste your $$ or time trying to find a great-let alone a good-crabcake in 3.5 weeks. The majority of restaurants use imported crab meat from God only knows where, and then they add everything from pimento's to all sorts of 'creative filler". Save your $$ until well into the crab season.
True Maryland Crabcakes:drool: have very few ingredients.
BTW-where ya moving from?
