yeah yeah
Airline and Car Rental, or should I go through someone like Carlson Wagonlit travel?

We are looking to go out towards reno in march. It will be both of us and skeeter. (and she is 2 years old, so we will have to pay for a seat for her. )

What say you? What sites have you been to online that have the best prices? So far, the cheapest I have found 579.00 a person. I know there are cheaper ones out there....right?

Yeah, tried there. The only issue with that, is that they have no nonstop flights (which I was trying to do with skeeter, since it would be her first time, and with me not having flown in 13 years... I am a little nervous) is one without layovers

I used the Expedia.com - Upgrade your browser and see the world a few times before and have no problems. They listed all kind of airline showing fees, times, connection or direct flights with non-stops. This is a one stop shop place. However, there is no refunds once you purchase the tickets. My favorite airline is Delta. I never have any delays or problems with this airlines. Always been on time, enough time to get between flights to catch another flight so you don't have to run to catch and missed your flight, baggages arrives with no problems, etc.

I have tried United and Northwest. They get a thumb down from me because United, they lost my baggages. Northwest, they kept delaying our flight time, which we ended up spending the night at the airport.

Watercolor, send me an email, and I will tell you what to bring or not to bring to airports. I have traveled with a baby in airplane before.

About car rentals: I can't help you there, but I heard they do have carseats that you can rent. I never had to rent a car because where we flew to, relatives picked us up and used thier carseats for my baby.

Good Luck in finding your flight schedules!

Yeah, in regards to the car rental, we would be bringing our own carseat- because I dont trust other ones from just a place somewhere. We are needing a rental car because we are going to be surprising my grandmother, who hasnt seen me since I got married almost 5 years ago and that was only for a small stint of time, and because I havent been out west since my dad died 13 years ago. BUT- one of the biggest reasons is, She has never seen skeeter either. Pictures of course but ya know.

So- its a big trip that we are hoping to go smoothly, as we will be arriving there a couple of days before her birthday to surprise her.

I will check out expeidia, hotwire and kayak
