Because some of us just don't have too many brains. 
Currently my plan is driving...
to work, take the beltway to I66 to Centreville
to home, take I66 to 110 to I395 to I295, Suiteland Pkwy to Rt5
(the bits past the beltway in MD are predictable).
I figure on good days a 1-1/2 hr ride minimum.
Plan on leaving Chaptico between 5 and 5-30am and leaving the office between 2:30 and 3pm.
From the glances I've given it, it doesn't really seem like taking mass transit will do me much good. Transferring between the different modes sound like a killer timewise. (Sounds like it'd be car to Park 'n Ride, bus to DC metro, metro to bus in Vienna, bus in Vienna to stop a few blocks from the office.)
I plan on checking into the Rideshare type sites and looking to see if there is anyone else daft enough to make the same commute as me.
Can anyone think of a better way to do my commute (besides getting a different job that is)?
Does anyone have any recommendations on the best place to look for a rideshare?
