Beuhler's deli/grocery

What happened to Beuhler's deli/grocery in St. Leonard, Calvert Co. Last time I was over there to get a lunch to go, it was closed, for good. Anyone know why?

They had been talking about it for a few years, after Ms. Buehler died.....just woke up one morning and decided that was it.....

Heard the hairdresser next door (Harmoni's)'s husband will be leasing the space and re-opening it as a convenience store...not sure of the time-line.

Ms. Beuhler isn't dead. She's in the nursing center in Prince Frederick. Two of her daughters have died within the last 5 years.

Oops!! I always get that confused......for some reason I always think she has passed...guess cause I never see her anymore....Sorry Ms. Buehler.....and to make it worse I have known all of them since I Was like 2......

Getting out of the business...

Pat Buehler has been trying to sell the historical grocery site for a few years. "Rumor" has it , the asking price was 1.2 mil......

I am unclear if that includes the liquor store also (another Beuhler operates it)... and it is still open...

God forbid we should lose a liquor store in St Leonard ... We have Wemyss too...

As for Harmoni's spouse taking over the space - I haven't heard that one.... I think "Harmoni" was operating her salon solo up until a few weeks ago ... There are three hairdressers there now, and I hear they all come very highly recommended, services including nice manicures and facials...

The "guts" of Beuhler's were auctioned off at the Auction House a couple weeks ago...

You aren't the only person who makes that mistake. It's an easy one to make. Like you said, you haven't been seeing her. I do miss her and the store. Both were such a huge part of St. Leonard. It's just never going to be the same. :dance:
