Biden Taps Radical Planned Parenthood Lackey Xavier Becerra to Head HHS

Joe Biden will nominate California Attorney General Xavier Becerra (D) as secretary for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the department notorious for railroading religious freedom via the Obamacare contraception mandate. Becerra has attacked religious freedom and free speech with zeal at the beck and call of radical-Left activists in Planned Parenthood and other groups.

Becerra has abused his power as attorney general in pursuit of silencing pro-life activists and organizations.

In 2014, David Daleiden and the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) released a slew of undercover sting videos showing Planned Parenthood staff admitting to selling aborted baby body parts for profit, with one even joking about buying a Lamborghini with the profits. Planned Parenthood hired the firm Fusion GPS, now notorious for assembling the Trump-Russia dossier, to obscure the facts and suggest the videos were deceptively edited.

Kamala Harris, Biden’s running mate, was serving as California’s attorney general at the time. In 2016, her office searched Daleiden’s home, seizing his video footage and preparing a legal case against him. In 2017, Harris’s successor, Xavier Becerra (another politician bankrolled by Planned Parenthood), filed 15 felony charges against CMP and Daleiden.

Biden’s Latest Nominee Proves He Comes Not To Bring Peace, But A Sword To The Culture War

Persistent, because no matter how many hard-left personnel and policies Biden promotes and pursues over a term as president, the century-old political pipe dream of a “Return to Normalcy” will continue, propped up by the kind of media outlets and politicians who remember President Barack Obama as a great American uniter.

Biden made just such a move to the hard left this week, naming California Attorney General Xavier Becerra as his intended secretary of Health and Human Services — the kind of position most Americans could not name before President Barack Obama nominated Secretary Kathleen Sibelius to lead the largest expansion of government power into private lives since the Great Society. It’s also the kind of position that today’s Democratic Party will use to close churches, shutter businesses, and separate families in the name of Science.

Far from playing the “kindly grandfather” of high-minded fairytales, Biden’s pick has worked hard to establish a 33-year record on abortion, where he stands for taxpayer-funded child dismemberment until the moment of birth. His disdain for the lives of the unborn extends so far as to oppose punishing those who injure a pregnant woman’s child while committing a crime, and he’s been rated 100 percent by abortion extremists.

After 24 years in Congress, he continued his war as attorney general of California, The Federalist’s Madeline Orr reports, charging the activist who exposed Planned Parenthood’s disgusting organ negotiations, vying to force pro-life volunteers to promote abortion, and even targeting the long-suffering Little Sisters of the Poor.

Biden’s Energy Secretary Pick Spent Years Pushing Russian Collusion Theories

During one particular appearance on CNN in August of 2018, the former governor argued that “Russian interference” in the 2016 race through social media platforms like Facebook had cost Clinton the election. At the time, Granholm also suggested that if Democrats, like then-Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO), failed to do well in the upcoming 2018 congressional elections, it was likely because Russia played a role.

When pushed by a CNN political contributor that it was unfair to blame Russia for the “Democrats’ poor performance” in elections, both past and present, Granholm disagreed. “I can blame the Russians for interfering in this election, and every single intelligence agency says they did interfere” in 2016, the former governor said in response.

Even after claims of Russian collusion were found to be unproven by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, Granholm did not let go of the notion. In December 2019, the former governor intimated that Trump had “love for Putin” when sharing a photo of the president meeting in the Oval Office with the Russian ambassador to the U.S.

Biden Taps Buttigieg For Cabinet Position; Critics Immediately Note Issues Given Buttigieg’s Record

While he was mayor of South Bend, the city’s roads became nearly “impassable in some spots” because they had deteriorated so badly, according to local news reports in 2018. Local car repair shops said that they had not seen anything that bad in well over a decade. The situation became so bad that residents of South Bend reached out to Domino’s Pizza in 2019 for help and received a $5,000 “Paving for Pizza” grant to fill in potholes.

Politico highlighted some pushback from the black community. “Just before news broke that Buttigieg will be Biden’s choice for the role, Black activists warned against his selection, saying he and other longtime Biden allies rumored for the spot have a poor record of working with communities of color,” Politico reported. “Two Black community leaders from South Bend — Council member Henry Davis Jr. and local Black Lives Matter leader Jorden Giger — both of whom have criticized Buttigieg’s record throughout his presidential primary campaign, mobilized again this week in response to reports that he was under consideration.”

“He did a really bad job for this community and my district in particular,” Davis Jr. said. “Bus lines have been shut down and cut off in one of the poorest census tracts in this country.”

“He has no history of working with Black owned businesses,” added Giger. “Hurting Black communities is not worth the price of doing a political favor for Pete Buttigieg because he endorsed [Biden’s] campaign in the primary.”

When will Blacks learn, Democrats don't care what you want ...... only your vote

Biden Is Already Breaking His Promise to Be a President 'for All Americans'

Biden may be assembling a cabinet with a diversity of skin color, gender, and sexual orientation, but not a diversity of thought. If you voted for Biden thinking he’d pick a cabinet of ideological rivals, you were duped. His cabinet members may look different from each other, but they don’t represent all Americans. They don’t represent the 75 million people who voted for Donald Trump. Biden has picked longtime loyalists and Obama retread and assembling a team of left-wing yes-men.

This is hardly surprising. Joe Biden is an old white heterosexual man in a party that hates old white heterosexual men. He picked his running mate solely on her color and gender, and he’s picking people based on their diversity scores, as if assembling an administration is a game show and he’s trying to get the highest score in the hopes of making up for being male and for the lack of melanin in his skin.

Prior to the election, we were treated to rumors that Biden was considering picking Republicans to serve in his administration. Former Ohio Governor John Kasich, former Senator Jeff Flake, and Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker kept showing up. While none of these men are true conservatives, these trial-ballon rumors sent a message to independents and anti-Trump Republicans nationwide that Biden would be a middle-of-the-road president. Baker reportedly wasn’t interested, but when are we going to get the news that Kasich or Flake, or some other “Republican” has been picked? Other Republicans Biden’s allegedly considered have yet to be publicly announced for his administration. Sure, the Republicans he’d pick would most likely be yes-men too, but at least he would appear to be trying to have a little diversity of thought in his administration and please moderate voters.

Well if he's trying to get one of each he may pick one eventually.

Biden’s Pick For Labor Secretary Will Hurt American Workers

And when the interests of Big Labor conflict with those of individual workers, there’s little question in the minds of Weingarten, et al, where Walsh’s loyalties must lie.

Case in point, Biden has already publicly declared he supports changing federal policy so that “there is no Right to Work (laws) allowed anywhere in the country.” President-in-waiting Kamala Harris, likewise, was bitterly critical of the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2018 decision in Janus v. AFSCME, which outlawed mandatory union membership and payment of dues and/or so-called “agency fees” for government employees.

Harris preposterously asserted it is a “basic American premise” that all workers subject to union monopoly-bargaining control should be forced to bankroll the union as a job condition, whether or not they personally benefit from unionization.

By definition, allowing workers to decide for themselves whether to support a union and its activities is entirely consistent with the DOL’s duty to “foster, promote and develop the welfare of the wage earners, job seekers and retirees of the United States.” By contrast, compelling millions of public employees to bankroll with their dues dollars a powerful special interest and the almost-exclusively ultra-liberal political candidates and causes its leaders prefer is the essence of oppression.

Not surprisingly, while government employee unions are going gaga over Walsh’s selection, private-sector unions are somewhat more muted in their praise. According to Politico, the United Auto Workers and Utility Workers Union of America sent letters to Biden’s transition team backing another candidate, as did the National Nurses United, the Communications Workers of America and the United Farm Workers of America.

Biden Picks A Second Sympathizer Of Critical Race Theory For Ed Dept

Rufo noted that a whistleblower “took detailed notes of the speech and captured screenshots of the presentation” despite the district’s ban on attendees from recording the session. He continued, “According to these notes, Love began her presentation by claiming that ‘racism runs deep’ in the United States and that blacks alone ‘know who America really is.’ She argued that public schools in particular ‘don’t see [blacks] as human,’ are guilty of systemic ‘anti-Blackness,’ and ‘spirit murder babies’ in the education system.”

“At the end of her presentation, Love told the teachers that whites are directly responsible for the plight of ‘dark children,’” Rufo reported, adding that a slide labeled “Teacher Education Gap” stated, “Whiteness reproduces poverty, failing schools, high unemployment, school closings, and trauma for people of color.”

Love reportedly asserted that “white educators” derived privileges from “white supremacy culture.”

Biden’s DNI Pick: Biden’s ‘Frame’ For China Not ‘Adversary’ But ‘Global Competitor’

After Intelligence Committee Chairman Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) had called the Chinese Communist Party an “adversary,” the ranking Democrat on the committee, Senator Mark Warner (D-VA), said, “I want to start by building on what the chairman said in his opening comments, that for I would argue a number of decades, we had a bipartisan consensus about China, that the more they came into the world order, the closer they would move to some level of international norms.”

Warner admitted he had been wrong about that supposition, then continued, “We see them move aggressively militarily; we see them move aggressively economically … we’ve seen them use tools from stealing intellectual property to treating their own people extraordinarily poorly … so I think it is important that we are clear-eyed about China. … I just want to ask you straight out: Ms. Haines, is China under the rule of the Chinese Communist Party an adversary of the United States?”

“I couldn’t agree more with the priority that you’re attaching to China and the need, I think, for the intelligence community to focus on this issue,” Haines answered. “I think in the context of China, China is adversarial and an adversary on some issues, and in other issues we try to cooperate with them whether in the context of climate change or other things. And ultimately, the frame that the president-elect has identified for thinking about this is as a global competitor.”
