Although I believe sincerely that Joe Biden used his office to enrich himself, I am amazed at the actual influence he appears to have had .
I am starting to believe in order to have this type of influence other politicians were in on the deals Joe made.
Other Senators who got a share in this money that was being passed out. McConnell and his ties to China come to mind.

Is it any wonder that both parties wanted to get rid of Trump so badly?
How does writing a book while President make Obama so rich he has 4 mansions.?
Biden only has 3 Poor Bernie has a couple, and he never hit a lick until politics came along.
Rich politicians . They make a pretty good salary, but their salary doesn't support the lifestyle they have.

I understand that the reporter was from another country; I don’t suppose a liberal American “reporter” would be so bold as to question Slow Joe on the subject of his China connections:

Obviously, the only reason why foreign companies and governments have showered money on the Biden family is Joe’s perceived power. And his influence has been real. When the Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma desperately wanted a meeting with a high-level State Department official, it invoked the fact that the vice-president’s son was on its board of directors, and it got the meeting. Why else do you think the pathetic, drug-addled Hunter, who knew nothing about natural gas and didn’t speak Ukrainian, was worth $1 million a year to a Ukrainian natural gas company?

Former CIA Acting Director Michael Morell testified to the House Judiciary Committee on April 4 that now-Secretary of State Blinken called him about the laptop story just days after the New York Post published it and that the call “triggered” Morell to draft the statement.

Reps. Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Michael Turner (R-OH), chairmen of the Judiciary and Intel Committees, respectively, made the revelation on Thursday in a letter to Blinken, obtained by Breitbart News, that included portions of Morell’s testimony.

The chairmen wrote that Morell testified in the closed-door interview with the committee that Blinken’s call to Morell was “couched as simply gathering Morrell’s reaction to the Post story” but that “it set in motion the events that led to the issuance of the public statement.”

Blinken, at the time, served as then-candidate Joe Biden’s “closest” foreign policy adviser, according to the New York Times.

The campaign paid Blinken more than $100,000 for his work in 2020, Federal Election Campaign records show.

At 10.53 p.m. the night of the call, Blinken emailed Morell a USA Today article claiming that the FBI was examining whether Hunter’s laptop was part of a “disinformation campaign.”
At the bottom of Blinken’s email was the signature block of Andrew Bates, then-director of rapid response for the Biden campaign.
Morell said he did “a little bit of my own research,” and then reached out to retired CIA senior operations officer Marc Polymeropoulos for assistance in compiling the letter discrediting The Post’s reporting. Over the next two days, Morell gathered signatures from 51 former intelligence officials, including himself and four other former CIA directors, including John Brennan and Leon Panetta.
Morell testified that he sent an email telling Nick Shapiro, former Deputy Chief of Staff to Brennan, that the Biden campaign wanted the statement to go to a particular reporter at the Washington Post and that he should send the statement to the campaign as well.
