I really thought we were past the idiocy of the portrayal of the "MUSLIM" travel ban.

It is more or less the same travel restrictions that existed prior to his administration. It restricts travel from NATIONS - not religions.
It does not in any way pertain to Muslims, as Muslims from every other nation on Earth that are not on that nation list are not restricted.
It does not ban travel from the OVERWHELMING majority of Muslim nations, where the OVERWHELMING majority of Muslims LIVE.
90% of the world's Muslims are allowed in.
It includes nations which are clearly NOT Muslim - such as Venezuela and North Korea.

The nations have one or both of two things in common - they are openly hostile to the United States and/or they do not possess or choose to possess the means to vet whom they send here or who arrives here.

GUARANTEE they will continue to call it a Muslim Travel Ban as long as they refer to Trump - they will however KEEP the same travel ban - which is nearly identical to Obama's - but they will NOT call it that.

That's what's so ridiculous - it will be the SAME COUNTRIES - just as Trump's was the same as Obama's.
What pisses me off is the press. I get that Dems and politicians do these things - hell, Biden's brilliant COVID and economic plans are almost identical to Trump's. Not surprising for a man who built his career on plagiarism. But I mean, damn, isn't there one journalist in these major papers who can sit back and say, this ain't news. This is propaganda - they might hate the right, but doesn't one have the integrity to just realize these things?

Stephen Moore: Biden’s $1.9 trillion ‘rescue plan’ could destroy 4 million jobs — here’s a better idea

Casey Mulligan of the University of Chicago and I estimate that at least 4 million jobs would be destroyed by the Biden bill because all of the free money makes work less essential and — in many cases — less financially attractive than getting off the couch and working. That’s some stimulus.

In addition to sending $1,400-per-person checks to millions of American households — helicopter money — the Biden plan includes $350 billion for a blue state bailout, paid parental leave, a $15-an-hour minimum wage, $400 a week bonus unemployment checks, transit aid, paid leave of $1,400 a week, some $100 billion for school aid (for schools that have been shut down for almost a year!), "health equity" grants, student debt relief and checks for illegal immigrants.

If income limits to receive the $1,400 per-person checks remain the same as for previous such payments, individuals who make up to $75,000 (and $150,000 for married couples) would be eligible, with payments phased out as income rises.

Printing money , printing money, It's like a credit card with no limit.
Sooner or later that bill is going to come in.
That bill will be inflation, and a lack of acceptance of the American dollar.

He hasn't seen harsh Judgement--------yet.
He might have a chance if he got smart and started doing a decent job, but that is not going to happen.
People with dementia do not get better, they get worse.

How long can Democrats make excuses for this Biden administration.
I suppose as long as they control the FBI and CIA.

Vice chair of Treasury Dept’s new racial equity committee wants to defund police, 'center race' in all policy

The vice chair of the Treasury Department’s newly-announced racial equity committee wants to defund the police and put racial justice at the center of all government policymaking.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen on Tuesday announced the formation of a 25-member committee called the Treasury Advisory Committee on Racial Equity, which will identify, monitor, and review aspects of the domestic economy "that have directly and indirectly resulted in unfavorable conditions for communities of color," according to a press release.

In the latest iteration of the Biden administration’s inclusion of capitalism critics in federal governance, Felicia Wong, the president and CEO of the Roosevelt Institute, was announced to serve as the nascent racial equity committee’s vice chair.

Wong is a former executive at the Democracy Alliance, a network of liberal megadonors founded in part by billionaire George Soros. Since 2012, she has led the Roosevelt Institute, a liberal think tank that wants to abolish for-profit prisons, reimagine capitalism, and put racial justice at the "center" of all government policymaking.

Last year, the Roosevelt Institute published a report co-authored by Wong, titled, "A New Paradigm for Justice and Democracy," which argued that "all policy, from vaccine distribution to higher education funding to tax reform, will have racialized effects. Recognizing this reality, and always considering race in policy design, is therefore vital."

Wong and the authors wrote that a "skills-based, opportunity-focused liberalism" is outdated and ignores systemic racism, and that "our mainstream politics has yet to recognize, prioritize, and make central the reckoning, race equity, and self-determination that a multiracial democracy would require."
