Is he talking to the tree?
Probably. Is he talking to the tree?
I'm sorry, but is there a certain timestamp I should search? I can't stand to listen to this simpleton for more than a few seconds, slurring, misspeaking, and fishing for applause just to boost is own ego. WTF were these people thinking, putting this old halfwit in the most powerful position in the world. May God save America.
Never underestimate the hatred the left has for Trump, for America, for us rubes in fly-over country. All of them, not just the leaders, would rather burn down this country and let the ashes be ruled over by despots and tyrants - everything they accused Trump of being. At first I thought that's what he was supposed to do - leave the stage and the recipient would say a few words. But you can tell by the reaction of the reporters, they're all....wait.....um.... And then they start the benediction, which one would think Biden would be on stage for.
Anyway, this fool never knows whether he's coming or going. His speech is so slurred you can't understand a word he says. And yet somehow - somehow! - he got the most votes in history. Yeah right.
"Don't be sniffin' my leaves, you old pervert!"Probably.
I'd be really interested in knowing what the tree said back to him.
You must be speaking of people like John Kerry who arrived in Viet Nam with a box of band aids and was awarded 3 Purple hearts and a trip home for using them.I'm glad this guy was able to be around to accept the honor of the medal after 50+ years after he served. I wonder what took so long.
FWIW, my little home town of 35,000 people has had 2 citizens receive the MOH. Both died. 1 served in WWI. The other kid served in Korea. I know these awards take time to have the award claim validated.
What I find interesting reading old Vietnam vets' stories are when they are at reunions. They find out that the commander on a mission got some high level award/medal. But the rest of the grunts on the mission, the guys doing the heavy lifting, got nothing. Then they find out that the guy put himself in for the award. By that time, the other guys have long been discharged from their draft commitment. It would be nice if the system was fair about who got what award.
FJB!
