Someone help us out and explain somethings. It is my understanding that just having a security clearance, does not permit access to information via computers, (which would require a different type of authorization). But that one can be in certain classified areas such as where classified materials or equipment are, or say a meeting, where classified information can be seen, read in paper form, or shared verbally? And doesn't "being read in" to whatever classified discussion include this as well?
Also, that having, say, a Top Secret clearance, only applies to the organization that a person is employed, or work product being worked on? And doesn't apply to driving over from, say an Army munitions research lab, to a research hanger working on the F35 at PAX, to check out the advancements over there?
Is this correct?
