Which is funny in a way. The Commissioners are always supporting new commercial developments when the current developed commercial sites don't have full occupancy. Not only that, the only businesses that can afford to lease spaces are corporations and franchises. It is near impossible for the mom and pop business to afford such commercial rents.

They don't care. Cut down more trees, build more buildings and collect more revenue. That's what governments do. I'm no tree huger but that's what I think.

There are several new businesses going into empty stores in Fox Run in the next 6 months..

To be fair, BIG LOTS advertised the hell out of it......got my son a new mattress for 60% off in Jan.

I wish someone would bring back something along the lines of Peebles, that was the only store I frequented when shopping local other than bouncing around the different food stores.
Unfortunately I haven't heard of anything like that, but I do know several small business owners that are going in there.
