Got another Candidate's Forum on February 6, 2008, sponsored by the NAACP of PG County at The Prince George's Community College in Largo Student Center, Largo, MD. 20774 from 6:30-9:30pm and the public is invited.

And of course I plan to be there and to participate and its pro-life Cusick against abortion-boy Hoyer.

Candidates from Districts 4, 5, and 8 have been invited.

I hope I do not fall off the chair.

I honestly have to say I'm really surprised that so many different groups have been issuing you invitations and asking for your positions on various issues, JPC. You've really had some chances to get your viewpoints on out there in the public.

I think it's because he is registered as a "candidate", so the groups automatically send him mail and stuff. Note that no one is saying, "We have learned of your views and would like to endorse you..." They are asking for such because they don't know any better; only after Jimmy opens his mouth can and will they learn what a loon he is.

This is why I keep suggesting people let JPC give his answers in person instead of everybody emailing things to these groups. There is nothing like hearing the answers straight from the source to get the best effect. You only get one chance to make a first impression.

The League of Women Voters of Calvert County, Primary Candidates' Forum on Sunday Feb. 5, 2008, from 7-9:30pm at the Calvert Pines Senior Center, 1450 West Dares Beach Road, Prince Frederick, MD, 20678, and Candidates need to be there at 6:00 if we want to hand out literature and greet voters.

This is why I keep suggesting people let JPC give his answers in person instead of everybody emailing things to these groups. There is nothing like hearing the answers straight from the source to get the best effect. You only get one chance to make a first impression.

True, but he has also said that he plans to conceal certain aspects of his platform - this he claims to do for "simplicity", but it's probably because he knows that very few would vote for him if they knew details of his positions. So if forumites did not e-mail or go to the debates and prompt him with questions known to throw him off or stump him, he may actually present himself halfway decently.

I think it's funny that they have to contact him for him to enter these debates. He has not proactively put himself out there. He honestly thinks he could have a chance publicizing himself by forums alone.

Just Plain Crazy, Sr..Do you spend most of your life in front of the computer going through various forums? If you're a candidate, shouldn't you be out shaking hands, hugging babies, making friends, etc. I've just never heard of a real candidate posting so much crap on forums.

If anyone reading thinks I was being callous calling JPC a "deceitful, ignorant moron" just read some of his posts. No newbie who has tried to defend JPC has been able to do so for more than a day or two - as long as they are sane and live in reality.

Just Plain Crazy, Sr..Do you spend most of your life in front of the computer going through various forums? If you're a candidate, shouldn't you be out shaking hands, hugging babies, making friends, etc. I've just never heard of a real candidate posting so much crap on forums.

I do spend a lot of time on the computer and I really love this new-fangled gizmo.

So I do forums online but I also use the word processor to do my legal projects as I am actively doing legal assistance in several cases pending in several Courts right now, and I have to fill out all those correspondances from special interest groups PACs, and I type with one finger so this is not an easy task and very time consuming. I do the forums for fun - and I still take the forums seriously and I mean what I say on the forums but I still find this place fun.

Getting out to meet voters is limited for me as I do have some real physical limitations, but if you notice the first post of this thread and particlarly post # 107 link HERE then I am planning on going out to meet the voters face-to-face before the election.

Everything is going super well for my campaign and I am very pleased with it.

You seem to be okay, before you had a vehicle you walked everywhere and seemed alright. You can get in and out of your Bronco with no problem, I think your disability is in your head, and they do make meds for that. Maybe you should try using them, and not the system.

Imagine having to leave for an office almost every day, as well as sit at a computer and move around a lot nearly daily. If you think you can handle that - as you clearly do since you are seeking the office - you can also maintain employment at Wal-Mart and quit taking other peoples' money.
