Big sweet guy needs a home. Please let me know if anyone is interested in a people friendly dog. He is approx. 1 year old - at my guess. He is very playful.

Kittens

Thanks Mary. The kittens were adopted through PAWS. They got great owners. Bandit is still available. He is one sweet guy. When people see him, they wish they had enough room for him because he is a love muffin. He likes to ge for car rides. He sits right in the middle and looks out front like he is in the drivers seat. He is not a chewer which suprises me for a big guy. My bratty biatch tried to go after him and he just wanted to get away. He is not a fighter, he is a lover. I would live to seem him loved the way he deserves. My girl won't let that happen.:jameo:

Vkenner,
He was here overnight last friday (so he could make it to the PAWS adoption day bright and early the next day.) Pictures don't do him justice, he is a BEAUTIFUL dog in person :) He stayed downstairs with my MIL and her kitties (which he was great with) and was very good with our 2 year old (she loves visiting Grandma and her kitties.) My only concern would be that being so big knocking kids down is probably a given (that happens here with our big dogs too, and our daughter just shakes it off and is learning to push back :) But he was really sweet, and I would say he is VERY trainable (maybe there are just some manners in there that need polishing?) but he was sitting on the leash within a few minutes. But like I said he is absolutely beautiful - definately a looker :)

My guess was shepherd/elkhound, he looks so much like our shep/elk x growing up that he made me a little weak in the knees to be honest. I told my husband I sure would like to keep him myself... he gave me the look of "Right, and where will you and the dogs live???", two big dogs are enough for him, besides one of our girls is really dog aggressive :(
I know when he first went downstairs he did pee :( But I expected that (I wasn't thrilled none the less), I know when i was still grooming here I never trusted the male dogs around the house - they always tried to mark once :( But after that he would go to the door to go out, so yes there was a marking incident - but it didn't appear to be the norm for him :) Like I said if I could I'd realy like to have him myself, and I know I wouldn't want to deal w/ housebreaking a new dog, so signals to me would be good sign:) He should be at the La Plata Petco this Saturday (email Jacqueli48 to double check), he is definately worth meeting!
Also Jetmonkey, my guess for weight would be 75-80lbs - but Jacqueli48 may have it on the records :)

Through PAWS, with Jacqueli48 being his rescuer and fostermom. My MIL and I don't do dogs (cats only here) so I'm not sure what all the ins and outs are for dogs, but I know Jacqueli48 could probably fill you in as for his adoption info - and like I said he'll be at Petco on Saturday :) *and you have to meet him in person to really apperciate how beautiful and sweet he is!*
