The chicken came out perfect! Fried it up, then pressured it for 12 minutes, then threw it back in the fryer to crisp it up. It was tender, juicy, and practically falling off the bone, with a nice crisp skin.
It must have been super good to have deserved it's own tread and not be put in the original one.
I wanted to make sure she saw it.
I was wondering how it would turn out. Now I'm going to have to go and buy another pressure cooker. Dayum. The chicken came out perfect! Here it be!
Looks excellent!
Been reading a little more on pressure cookers. I get the impression they're totally safe now. Might have to get one, also.
This cooker couldn't be any easier to use. You put the food in the removable pot, make sure there's at least 1/4 cup of liquid, push a button to tell it what cooking method (low or high pressure, saute, brown, warm, etc) then push another button to tell it how long to cook. Then you walk away.
Really fool-proof. The only thing to remember is to turn the pressure valve to the correct position. But if you forget, all that happens is the pressure won't build up.
