I take a multi-vitamin every day because there's no way the average American can get their recommended daily allowance of vitamins and minerals from food alone. You'd have to eat like a truck load of a million different things.
So because I don't have anything else to worry about, I started wondering how they came up with the RDA, and does anyone get to that level organically without supplements?
Is the RDA just a scam devised by Big Vitamin to indoctrinate moms into buying Flintstone chewables and One-A-Days for themselves?
At some point I'll do a search and see what the internet has to say, currently it's just something that popped into my head.
