and just a few months later, the couple that ordered that cake for their small private wedding was once again in the news.




Pudgy Paulo Cipriani and his blubbery bride Benedetta are the world's heaviest couple at a scale-crunching combined weight of more than 2,180 pounds. And the lard-butted lovebirds have something else to brag about -- they've just become the parents of the world's heaviest baby!

Titanic tot Tomasso Cipriani bounced into the world at 8:02 p.m. on February 9 weighing an unbelievable 28 pounds, 4 ounces -- a new world record.

Since then, the chubby, chow-loving cherub has packed on more flab and at barely six months old, now tips the scales at a whopping 130 pounds.

"It looks like our son is going to be a chip off the old block," says proud papa Paulo, who weighs a staggering 850 pounds. "He's already bigger than most nine-year-olds."

Doctors in Florence, Italy, where the jumbo-size infant was delivered by C-section, call the case a medical miracle.

"We had strongly advised Mrs. Cipriani not to become pregnant," says obstetrician Dr. Angelo Dimiceli, who delivered the tubby tyke
