Third District Optimist Club Bike-A-Thon for Childhood Cancer Research
Please help the doctors at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehesive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins in Balitmore find a cure for the dreaded disease childhood cancer. Throught research the doctors have found a gene found only in children with leukemia. All the money raised from this event will go to help the doctors find a drug to kill this gene before the children contract the dreaded diease. PLEASE HELP US, HELP THEM FIND THE CURE!!!!!!!! This years ride will take place on Sunday, July 19th, 2009, at the St. Mary's County Fairgrounds. The event will start at 1pm. Distance will be determined by laps not miles. We suggest you make your donation by check written to the Third District Optimist Club earmarked for the CCC.
