I like Harleys, and I know some people who have them, but they make me nervous. People offer to let me ride, I say ok, just don't go too fast. So, of course they go too damn fast and now I am a chicken about getting on another bike. They are nice to look at though. Cute bikers are too..
I'll stick with my horses..

Guys have this idea in their heads that they have to scare a girl to impress her. When I rode the rice rockets I flew, but, if someone was on the back, I rode sensibly. I got the speed out of my system and when I got my first Harley, I just rode to enjoy the open roads. A couple of bike trips to Daytona & Myrtle beach really were enjoyable and now I ride for fun. I can't drive 55 but my new Harley has never seen 80mph. Don't give up on us, there is a guy or 2 out there with sense. Are you single? :howdy:

Nope, not single. Thanks, though.. When I see people riding their bikes on a nice day, I am just a little envious.

How do you like that thing? I was looking at a Buell but by the time I accesorized it, I emptied out the wallet gauge plus some. I met a guy that bought a Suzuki and put 14000 in to years with one wipe out at Sturgis and loves it. Just never been a twin guy. Ponytail sez I will love it.

True but all my bikes have run on rice and I really don't have any complaints about any of them. Kawasaki 750 triple, KZ900, KZ-1000 and FJ1200 twice. haven't gone the "American" Bike yet.

I love it. It's a good compromise between a cruiser and a sport bike.
All day comfortable, doesn't scrape hard parts in every little turn and can carry over 450 lbs. Check the specs on most bikes (subtract the net weight from the gross) and you'll be lucky to be able to carry 300.
Great on the highway, actually need to be doing in excess of 65 mph to run in 6th gear and I'm getting around 40 mpg in town.

Like to take one out. never riden a tall bike. I looked at a KTM dual sport in Colorado and it was so high that even at 5'10" I couldn't reach the ground.

Beautiful ride but not ready to slow down all the way just yet and the casings would be ground off in a day because I could never get used to sitting that low.

I'm 6', got the lowereing links for the rear shock that dropped the back 1-1/2" and moved the forks up in the triple trees. I could flat foot it till I got a Corbin seat and now I'm back to tippy toeing at lights
