I wish people would just have the nuts to admit that motorcycling is dangerous and that it is ok for it to be so. Zippin' along at 5-100+ mph with nothing protecting you except a riding suit(insert your preference here) is inherently a dangerous thing to do. But damn it's sure fun! Now ya can either do it and accept the risks or stay home and with any luck ya won't slip and die in the shower.

Well of cousre it is. You have to rely on your own skills and abilities instead of air bags, side intrusion beams and crumple zones. Every time I hear someone say "I feel safer driving a SUV", I assume they've never taken the time or effort to actually learn how to drive and be aware of their surroundings.

The way some of these people drive those SUVs you can tell they feel really safe. Right up until they plow into that tree. I had one woman in a Toyota 4runner cut into my lane with about 2 feet to spare at about 35mph this am.

Wind chill only effects exposed skin.. dress well, and the FJ has some good weather protection.. I'd ride.
