Surprise, Surprise, Surprise

We have to be the dumbest country in the world...Blow em up & rebuild...Blow em up and rebuild...
"About $10 billion has been squandered by the U.S. government on Iraq reconstruction aid because of contractor overcharges and unsupported expenses, and federal investigators warned Thursday that significantly more taxpayer money is at risk."

"So far, the Bush administration has spent more than $350 billion on the Iraq war and reconstruction effort." That's a lot of damn money...

You know, the REAL scary part is the 10% of the money that the IRS collects from us is lost. TEN PERCENT! I know when I was a kid if my mom gave me $5 to go to the store and I were to lose it, I would've gotten my butt kicked.

As usual, you are wrong.

So far, the Bush administration has spent more than $350 billion on the Iraq war and reconstruction effort.

The Army, which handles most of the Iraq contracting, said Thursday it had not reviewed the latest contract figures.
