The Graham's have brought the Gospel to tens of thousands. Sorry to hear this.

There is some hypocrisy here. If I try to show Catholics that there is an immense problem to show them they are unsaved then I'm somehow shaming the Catholic church when I'm really concerned about their lack of salvation but everyone doesn't have a problem with this post. It is a double standard.

Would you have shamed King David as well?
And what about your own sins? Do you judge yourself first?

And folks frown on Christians that don't go to church. :ohwell:

Come on, Psy. It's better to be with others of like mindedness than alone most of the time. That's what the Word preaches. Accountability one to another is very important - the writers of the NT stress that. You know that.

There is good in being alone at times. Dude fessed up, resigned, as he should have, and he and wife need to get it back together and stay out of the spotlight.

Mega churches bother me - always have. Power from those pulpits far too often corrupt the leaders. Those churches are so big individuals can, and do, get lost in them as easily as staying away from any group meeting.

Where did the first Catholic condemn Graham. Please re-read Ones original post.

Isn't that how gossip starts? Imagine if I started public prayer over someone's sins? Would it be gossip?

Bringing up the situation helps the gentiles blaspheme God.

King James Bible
For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.

The Message Bible was introduced through the Billy Graham organization. I wrote twice to complain and both times they sent me a Message Bible.

The problem with the Message Bible is that there are unjustifiable words in the translation. I wrote this, another pastor helped me, and Dwayna edited it and posted it:

I cannot find myself sitting in a pew listening to someone preach to me when they aren’t practice what they are preaching. I’ve had too many negative experiences, which I’ve listed many here, to feel any level of trust.

But you don't know that, do you?If you're saying you cannot believe or trust anyone, then you should remain alone. Or perhaps change those who you have been listening to. Appears to me either you imagine everywhere or everything you go or hear is bad, or you want them to be to justify your stance. Try a smaller church that preaches the Bible rather than larger, more "popular or in" denominations. If you have a Bible, you can see for yourself if what is being preached from the platform is true or not. If you feel that everyone who preaches is a liar, hypocrite, well, that's just something you have to deal with. Just accept the simple fact that the best preachers are sinners as well. Go for the ones whose fruit identifies them with Christ.

Every single person has had negative experiences. You ain't alone, and the first church you attend that you deem the perfect one will not be perfect simply because you, or I, or anyone else, are there.

If you were to know the truth, you can listen to almost anyone. I'm not afraid of countering error because I know the truth.

Matthew 23:2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
Matthew 23:3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

Jesus doesn't agree with you though. Jesus scolded the Scribes and Pharisees as being hypocrites, etc. And Jesus tells us to listen to them. Why? Math remains math whether you are a hypocrite or not. Did you listen to your teacher in high school? Were they a perfect person? Were they still able to teach you something? Ahh..

I listen very carefully to those who oppose me and I have learned stuff from them. They are not always correct but their information has proven useful in the correct context.

Who said to trust them in everything?
