Great Backyard Bird Count — Great Backyard Bird Count You can kill two birds with one stone ohwell watch birds, photograph and then log in your findings. I've been doing the GBYBC for a few years. Its fun, fill your feeders, take note, then enter it.

Florida Manatees

Went out in the boat the 1st week in January when it was really cold down here. The manatees were everywhere in the springs. Got a couple good pics.

Hope I get my new telephoto by then. Still trying to decide on the 50-200 or 50-500mm. I have heard mixed reviews on 50-500 but saw some excellent examples.

What kind of bird is that in the very 1st picture?

One came to our window and peaked in and when I went outside, it made tons of noise. I went ahead and put seed out and after that 'it' stopped making noise.

I have seen mixed reviews on a lot of products. You an always go to Ritz Camera or some other camera shop and look at the products. Then you can get the feel of it and see if you like it.

Those are awesome! Hubby and I was out backing just taking pic after pic. We took about 200 pictures and came up with about 60-70 really good ones
