Don't pet the fluffy cows.

A woman visiting Yellowstone National Park died after a bison gored her and tossed her into the air, park officials said Tuesday.

The 25-year-old woman, who was visiting from Ohio, was not identified in a news release from the National Park Service.

The woman approached the female bison Monday morning after it came close to a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, near Old Faithful geyser, the park said.

There are signs literally all over that park telling you to keep space between you and the bison because they will injure you. I think a few people every year need to get gored as a reminder to the rest of the tourists to stop being so ducking fumb.

When wife and I were there, we saw, at a distance, idiot tourists approaching the bison very close.

The human race can only get smarter as the dumb ones are culled from the herd by doing stupid crap.

I grew up beside a field with bison, they are amazingly agile, they are also very foul tempered. They use to get out and run around the neighborhood and eat people's plants and crap in their yard. They finally had to move them, but man we're they cool to watch.

At Pioneer Park in Lincoln NE there is a bronze statue of a bison and when I was a child I used to have nightmares about it coming alive and stomping everyone.
