is fantastic! And a lot cheaper than Boarshead. Had Reubens last night made with BJs corned beef, Arnolds seedless rye, and deli smoked provolone. So good!

BJ's cold cuts rock ! They taste great and are value priced . Boar's Head are good but NOT worth the difference in price in my opinion .

When I worked at Publix I had to go to Boar's Head school and earn a certification to push their products. That's right, you are speaking to a certified Boar's Head Product Representative. I'm not making that up. I have a badge and everything.

The BH gal would come in a couple times a week and fuss at us that we weren't packaging the product nicely enough, or we weren't giving out enough samples, or we weren't upselling. I liked her okay but her cultish enthusiasm was somewhat disturbing, plus even though I was the new kid for some reason she targeted me to speak to the deli manager (my boss) and give him hell about BH standards. Fortunately he was cool and I could just say, "Sharon was in today....." and he considered that his ass ripping and took it to heart accordingly ("Oh **** her!")

You're supposed to feel so good about the effort that goes into BH lunch meat that you'll ask for it by name and welcome the higher price. So this blasphemy of a BJ's thread is just..... Don't you know that BH meats contain no fillers and are gluten-free? That they are free of artificial flavors and colorings and contain no MSG or byproducts?

Compromise elsewhere!

I know of a sandwich shop in New Jersey that has to be a money laundering front. They will make you a boar's head sub that has 1lb of meat on it for $12, it's the best cold sandwich I've had, but no way they can sell it for that.

Did you know there is a cheesemonger and cheese specialist certification?

Why would I do that when I can buy real Italian cold cuts at BJ's or Nicks for less ?
