I’m in the market for a new phone; my LG Venus just bit the dust again for the 3rd freak’n time. All 3 times it was touch screen related, so I am not getting another touchscreen phone again.

Does anyone have the Blackberry Curve 8330?

Have you had any problems with it?

How is the Mac OSX sync ability on it?

Please don’t suggest the iPhone. Yes, it is a nice looking phone, but 99% of my contacts are Verizon network.

Yep, i have it for work, and have used a Sprint 8330 for a while now as a personal device. The sync compatibility isnt so much on the device end f thisng as it is the PC software side. RIM has always been behind the curve (no pun intended) on compatibility with the Mac OS. I really dont know how different it is now, as im not a Mac user so i dont follow it too closely. You could try Pinstack.com - Smartphone Professionals Alliance or BlackBerryForums.com : Your Number One BlackBerry Community for better info.

Get the Blackberry Storm :yay:
Gurl ad FB both have the Storm. I hate trying to use it. They don't love, but have grown accustomed to it and find that it's "okay". I'm due for a new phone in the near future and think I'll just stick with an upgrade of my little enV.

I've had one for almost two years now, love the sync with my laptop, reception (ATT) is much better than any other PDA I've owned. Customer service is spectacular. The phone is intuitive, if you know how to use a qwerty key board, this thing just falls in to place. Buttons and screen are big enough to use comfortably.
The one problem I've had: Nobody told me about updates and cell tower memory.
To fix both, the handheld has to be turned on and off to reset it. I do it every night and synch it every morning with my laptop.
Great, dependable work phone, I'm not interested in the i phone either.
Definitely worth it.

The Storm is a neat device, but it has a ways to go before its as functional as a regular BB. There is no way anyone can type as quick on a Storm as they can on a BB with actual keys.

I do like the higher res screen and camera though!
