 Anyone join this service? They are $5.00 cheaper than netflex every month, and I was curious how the service is?
Pick the movies you want, they mail them to you. I also think they send you return envelope mailers so you dont have to pay to ship them back...Techno Kat said:How does an online DVD service work?

NETFLIX is worth the extra $5, it's based in Gaithersburg. or one of its distribution ceinter is there,, and the turn around time on the movies is about TWO days (Drop old movie in the mail on Monday, new Movie on Weds or Thur).. no waiting a week or two for your next one.. it is also online,, and you can preorder new releases.. If I want one it gets here the DAY of its release.. Have been a VERY hapy customer of theirs for two years..Kizzy said:It is a start

My next door neighboor (the cool ones) swear by NetFlix!kwillia said:I'm seriously considering signing up with one of these companies... I'm looking for updated opinions as to whether or not current users are happy with their service.

We've been doing it for a few months now and are thrilled... New releases get there same day as released. Only ever got 1 cracked DVD but it was replaced quickly.
Every now and then I'll get an email from Netflix asking about delivery time, asking "did {blank} movie arrive on Friday the 6th, Saturday the 7th, etc." I'm always at a loss, because they've always arrived a day or 2 before the first listed option!
what's itsbob said is still true-- mail a movie back Monday and you'll have a replacement NLT Thursday.
I signed up with Netflix this afternoon and really enjoyed selecting some of the older movies I want to share with my son, but have had a hard time finding... "Eddie and the Cruisers" and "Harlem Nights" are two movies he has never heard of that I really think he will enjoy... the third movie on the way is "Blazing Saddles" which should be right up his humor alley...DotTheEyes said:I have Netflix and they're great. I am impressed by their speed especially. Very fast when processing returns and shipping out the next DVDs on your queue. They also have a huge collection of DVDs so you can get more obscure or older things in addition to the hot new releases (oh, and TV show season discs are offered as well). Right now I have Ultraviolet home from Netflix and The Libertine and The Matador are on the way. Their DVDs arrive fast and in excellent condition. Itsbob is right -- Netflix is great.
I wouldn't do that cuz tomorrow is a holiday and the mail doesn't run on holidays so if I were you (which I'm not) I wouldn't go wait by the mail box until at least Wednesday but you do what you want cuz I'm just sayin...kwillia said:I'm gonna go stand by my mailbox now.
