• In Dean Green’s five games prior to the all-star break, he recorded a hit in each game, and multiple hits in three games. On July seventh, Green was 3 for 5 with 5RBIs including three RBI doubles.

Professional Career:

• Played the 2011 season in “Low A”, and thrived. Green had a .341 batting average, 915 OPS, 7HRs, 44RBIs. Green had multiple four-hit games in the 2011 season

• In 2012, Green was promoted to “A” and later “High A”. Green shined again with a .306 batting average before being promoted to “High A.” Green continued to impress with a. .348 batting average after his promotion.

• Green repeated “High A” in 2013 and again posted an outstanding .314 batting average.

• In 2014, Green was promoted to “AA” and again made the most of his promotion. He hit .311 with 10 home runs and 65 RBIs.

• In 2015, Green earned his first promotion to AAA. At this level, Green posted a .253 batting average in 79 at bats.

• The following season, Green played in AAA again. In 2016, Green hit .309 with a 849 OPS in AAA.

• After the 2016 season, the Tigers sold Green's contract to the Tokyo Yakult Swallows of Nippon Professional Baseball's Central League

•After playing in Japan in 2017, Green played independent baseball in 2018. He started in the CanAm League where he hit .355 before playing in the American Association. Green thrived again in the Amereican Association, where he hit .303.

Collegiate Career:

• Green attended Oklahoma State University for his Freshman, Sophomore and Junior seasons.

• Posted a .319 batting average during his freshman season

•Recruited to play in the Cape Cod Baseball League after his Sophomore season.

• Transferred to Barry University after his junior year.

• Drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 11th round of the 2011 MLB June Amateur Draft from Barry University (Miami Shores, FL).

• Fourth highest draft pick in Barry University (DII)
