The only similarity I see is they both have two wheels/ tires.

The Beemer looks more like a rat-bike.

Exactly, much more streetfighter than Harley, although the exhaust is reminiscent of the XR1200.

197 crankshaft ponys and 122 foot/pounds of torque answer the weight question, and at about $18K MSRP one doesn't get one for its fuel economy.
I'm not big on crusiers, but I could live with a VMAX.

Same about the cruiser.. but Yeah.. VMAX would be a good choice.

Don't know if they've met it but BMW was trying for the 190/190..

Know they are coming out with new 1300 cc engines this year, but only in the 4 cylinder bikes.
