I just heard that on the Calvert Scanner.
Solomons Rescue is getting ready to launch a boat from the boat ramp under the bridge.

I'm hearing that too. Can't imagine why someone wants to take a boat out on a day like today, it's cold and drizzly, die hard fishermen I guess. :shrug:

Uh-oh

I live JUST south of Greenwell and let me tell you--It is 7 pm and there are DNR boats, rescue boats and coast guard boats all over here with lights going. They have been circling my pier and the immediate area for a couple of hours. I would guess someone is missing? Hope all works out OK!!!

I really don't know. I was catching bits and pieces of it and they were having problems communicating. We turn the scanner off during dinner, so I didn't hear much after about 5:30.
