Are they good? We were recently to the Prince Frederick one and the food was excellent and the restaurant was clean.

How does the California one stack up? TIA

A cracker barrel would fare well down here. Initially it would do well, but once great mills road people understand that "crack" is not on the menu, it may slow a bit.

When they first opened a few years ago, the service was second only to Micky D's, but they made some management changes, changed the seating arrangement, and hired some servers that can at least spell "Hello, Thank You, and, Can I get you anything else". My son loves the potato(e) cheddar bacon soup!

I like their food. We go there often b/c it's a place where I feel that I can take the little heathens and if they have an outburst no one seems to care. We've never had a complaint.

My hubby's done work back in the kitchen and he said it wasn't the cleanest place he'd seen but we have eaten there..

I was in Bob Evan's on Sunday and there was a crowd of about 20 giggling loud teenage girls.

But the food was good.
