Craze, a sports supplement marketed to bodybuilders, contains a chemical compound similar to the illegal drug methamphetamine, according to a study published in the peer-reviewed Drug Testing and Analysis journal. The substance, called N,alpha-diethylphenylethylamine or N,a-DEPEA, has never been studied in humans, according to Dr. Pieter Cohen, an assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and lead author of the study.

What i want to say is that many of the supplements contains all kind of mixture that would help you bulk your body and make it look good,sometimes by knowingly we buy such supplements and sometimes without considering it .So whatever is there in a supplement it is been approved that why it is been bought & sold in the market.

OK, but, does it work? Has it helped improve your health?


We, the people, freak out over anything that implies "ILLEGAL DRUGS!!!" when, if we look at it in a reasonable fashion, there is a very proper role in good health for stimulants, for some level of mood altering, of working, through science, to improve strength, stamina, joint health for, for lack of better word, happy pills.

Pills that do good.

Of course, too much of a good thing is bad but, driving science and physiology under ground isn't exactly the way to make understanding and reason the cornerstones of public policy and regulatory decisions.

So, does it work or was it harming your organs or making you pee blood or causing some sort of issues?

Any literature on the subject says, right away, that methamphetamine, in proper and low doses, increases concentration, alertness and energy.

Would that be a bad thing, say, for a bus driver or a doctor getting ready to do a difficult procedure? Of course not.

Heck, the steroid thing in pro sports is WAY more about healing from and preventing injuries than it is about hitting 60 home runs. But, what gets the attention? The extremes. As always.

Larry I think you are naive about this one, most of my high school football team took steroids for the express purpose of adding bulk.

I have this huge problem assuming folks will get my point readily.

Kids have no more business taking steroids than they do smoking crack, drinking or listening to rap.

What I meant was PROFESSIONALS, who have more than a date with a cheerleader on the line, aren't much interesting in the ligament and other tissue destruction of too much bulk but are VERY interested in exercise and supplements that HELP them stay on the field or get back on it ASAP.

If you are talking about the ones that are already "big time" you are correct, but there are far more that are not that want to be the next starter or want to prevent being cut from the team, many of them would do anything to be "the guy".

And, on an adult level, why not? Why keep it in the shadows and have all the mess we have? Why not let free people do what they wish AND have all the benefits of legality and the promotion and development of products including the refining of what works, and the harm it will do, as well as what kinda works but won't make you piss blood or eat your dog.
