Boeing Arrest

I'd say he's more of an idiot. I can almost understand revenge when you're unfairly fired, but just because you're transferred? How stupid! There are people being laid off all the time, and he gets mad over a transfer.

Wouldn't a transfer to the V-22 be a good career move any way? Isn't it likely to be around for a lot longer than the Chinook? Wouldn't it have given him a lot more job security to be qualified on both lines?

That's why I say he was stupid. He couldn't look at the big picture.

Wouldn't bother me one bit to be the trigger man at his execution. I have been flying on Boeing aircraft for many years.

 :yahoo:

After Boeing has been bad-mouthing the other contractors after the fuel tanker award, I'm glad they had this internal problem. They need to genuflect for a bit...

The Chinook has been around for over 40 years and think it will be around for many more years to come. Even though it may have benefited him to work on both production lines, seniority is a big issue w/the Union workers so maybe he felt it was a demotion based on his level.

Also, when you are from that area many of your relatives, friends, etc., have worked and/or work on the Chinook line so for some it is a personal thing to work on the Program also.

But I agree it was stupid what he did, but he will pay for it now.
