Banned..

This song was banned from the radio in '85.
American Bandstand couldn't play it either and it was on the top of the charts.

Sheena

The Navy trained me on the navigation computer used on nuke subs. It had a drum memory about 6" in diameter and 2 foot tall.
Capacity - 1 Meg
Saw a SD card the other day with 16 gig :yikes:

When I started smoking, cigs were $0.25, in a vending machine

I can remember when VCRs came out (we started with a Betamax :jet:) and when I replaced all my cassettes with CDs.

And I'm only 44 - it's not like I'm ancient or anything.
I'm younger than you are and I remember when they stopped making 8-tracks.

You would have to have an awful lot of quarters to feed in the vending machine for cigs at today's prices.

And Sheena, yes, very :hot: And to think in 84 (my mistake, said 85 earlier) that song was banned but I am sitting here watching "Man vs. Wild" and Bear Grylls just peed in a hole. :lmao:

Nice lady!
Another thing we didn't have...I remember the day Mom bought a 20-ft cord for the kitchen phone so we wouldn't be hovering in the kitchen while we were on the phone.
:yeahthat: My parents had to get me my own line because otherwise their phone was always busy. No call waiting.

Well, my dear, I remember when my neighbor gal got an 8-track player. It was so exciting! I was in 7th grade.

I had Blondie's "Parallel Lines" on LP.

Once I had a love, and it was a gas...

AND the B-52s first album as well.

Rock Loooooo-obster :dude:

Ohhhh I used to get in big trouble when my father would call and get a busy signal. Big big trouble. I could hear his wrath over the phone lines, made me wonder if C&P put a choke on the line.
