You should take her to flag pond beach. They allow dogs on a leash. We also took her to Elm's Beach and were able to let her off the leash to swim... :buddies:

:howdy:..she swam in my great uncle's pond last week............:killingme, she is part retriever and cow dog..........:yahoo:........what a gift I have.

There is a nice spot down at Greenwell State Park. When you go in take your first left and go all the way back to the play ground, from there take the trail behind the playground and it will take you down to the water. Its nice!!! :yahoo:

My Malamute would have shredded that frisbee in about 5 minutes. I've even seen her pop a tennis ball before. Nothing is safe "in her yard". My husband started dissassembling a car back there and she'd be carrying around large car parts like they were sticks.

:killingme......when I was a kid, we had a Malamute on our street......that was one of the meanest dogs I was ever around............but I liked him.........sport/working dogs need a job to do and having one tied up in a back yard is just not right...rip Weebles.

Ours is not mean at all. She will bark at neighbors to get them to come over to pet her. That's the only time she will bark so they know what she wants when they hear her. Or if she has some critter trapped in our yard. I agree that they need a job to do or they get bored.
