Boxer help

My boxer was outside doing his business this am when he was bitten by a deer fly on his eyelid and now the skin around his eye is swelling. Can dogs be given Benadryl and if so how much? He looks so pitiful. :bawl:

I know for sure it was a deer fly because I was out there with him and tried swatting at it and it got me too.

Yep it helps the swelling and the allergic reaction...Makes them a little sleepy (same as people) but works great for stuff like that..keep it in mind in the future..write down the dosage..
