Boy Scouts ending ban on gay members, leaders

Neither. God gives us our rights. The Declaration acknowledges those rights, and the Constitution protects them.
so, God gave the right to be gay or the right to be a Boy Scout? or the right to be a gay boy scout.
Which right did God give, I always thought he gave us free will so we could make our own choices, right or wrong.

 You aren't making any sense. You implied that the Constitution gave us rights. It doesn't.

You might want to check and see if the declaration of Independence gives rights.
or, it that the Constitution that does that.
Again, you need to review the Declaration of Independence. It's says the rights are "endowed by their Creator".

but,,, but I thought the left didnt believe in a Creator, how can what they consider a fable, a sky daddy, and invisable friend, suddenly have enough power to bestow rights to anyone... Unless,,, they really DO believe there is a God, a creator, something other than science...

but, even still, does my right to happiness include anything that would make me happy? anything at all???

One more point, when discussing the constitution, and pointing out that it was written with a God in mind, those on the left like to say that the country was not founded with religious laws, so was it or wasnt it??

Exactly and no one is forcing you to accept their lifestyle. Allowing gays to marry does not mean you have to accept their lifestyle but because you want to live your lifestyle does not mean they cannot live their lifestyle.
They've got you believing that too, eh? They are forcing many organizations to go against their long held beliefs just to accomodate their perversions! Ever heard of "diversity training"? Ever had "diversity training for Christianity?
They'll have it for Islam soon. Wise up and stop falling for their lies :duh:
JFC, are you two kidding me?
Treating them like humans doesn't mean you have gay/lez friends so you are nice to their face, then bash any gay person on a public forum behind a computer screen.
Treating them like a human means you don't judge someone based on their lifestyle, you judge someone by the way they act.
After reading through this thread, it shows that even people of god don't have the luxury of having humility.
You're nothing more than a hypocritical jackass who uses the lord as a reason to be a bigot.
Chill out kid! If I went on that rant I'd have 200 posts against me on here but it's ok if you do it. The administrator will say I caused it. I'll wait for Vrai to come in and chide you now...:tap:

Since you have little knowledge and tons of emotion I'll keep it short for you.

I don't bash the person; I speak to the error in their ways. I've never wished evil or harm on someone who is gay. Don't like it? Ignore me.

Rant? Please. That's far from a "rant".

There have been a lot of posts in this and I haven't read everyone but I have a statement then a question.

One of my best friends is gay. I've known the guy for about 40 years, and unless you asked him about his homelife, you would not know he was gay. He played h.s. baseball and football, and college football. He is an avid hunter and knows more about the out doors than anyone else I know. I would have left my kids with him before I would have left them with any other non-family member in the world.

Is what you are saying about gays indicating this guy might do some harm because he is gay?

I said it's possible with the BSA given their situation. I never said they all do it or that they all would. Some here have implied that I said that.
