The belt and the cape color are a little different from from the comics.
IMDB says the movie is using old footage of Brando as Jor-El. That's Weird. They could have gone the Smallville route and used the voice of Terence Stamp, who played General Zod in the original movies with Reeve. Smallville has used a lot of the original cast--Annette O'Toole played Lana Lang in the third Reeve movie, Reeve himself was on a couple of episodes, and so was Margot Kidder. I keep expecting Gene Hackman to show up as Lex's grandfather.
